overview

Shopify storefront for a Cairo label making denim slides, caps and socks in limited runs.

challenge

A denim slide on a contoured, denim-wrapped footbed, made in five washes and restocked rarely, looks like any other sandal in a default product grid.

approach

A custom theme on Shopify's Horizon: a video hero running edge to edge, bordered product cells on a hairline grid, a collection index that sets Slides, Caps and All products oversized with their counts in superscript, and quick-add built as its own web component.

outcome

Eleven products across five washes in sizes 36 to 45, in a store the label restocks on its own schedule.
