About the role
You will be the senior designer on our larger engagements — sitting between strategy and engineering, owning the design system, and pushing the work past the moment most teams call 'done'. We expect you to be opinionated about Arabic typography, and to be able to defend your opinions in a brand workshop.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end UI/UX for two-to-four concurrent engagements.
- Own the design system for each project, in Figma and in CSS variables.
- Run discovery and ideation workshops with clients.
- Pair with engineering from wireframe through QA.
- Mentor the junior designers in the studio.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in product or brand design at agency or studio scale.
- A portfolio that shows range — system work AND expressive marketing pieces.
- Strong Figma fluency; bonus for Sketch / Penpot familiarity.
- Comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Arabic and English typography (not necessarily fluent in both).
Nice to have
- Light prototyping in code (HTML / CSS / a touch of JS).
- Background in editorial or print design.
