A website is never finished. Frameworks release security updates, payment providers change their APIs, and content goes stale. Maintenance is the monthly cost of keeping a site safe and working, and it is the line most often missing from a website quote.
What maintenance should cover
- Hosting on reliable servers, with SSL.
- Framework, plugin and security updates.
- Uptime checks with alerts, so someone knows the site is down before your clients do.
- Backups you can restore from.
- A few hours of small edits each month.
- A clear response time when something breaks.
What it costs with us
We publish our prices. The Care plan costs USD 150 a month and covers hosting on our servers, framework and security updates, uptime checks every five minutes with alerts, up to two hours of small edits and replies within one business day. For online stores, Store Care at USD 250 a month adds checkout and order flow checks and theme and app updates. For mobile apps and platforms, App Care at USD 400 a month covers OS updates, store releases, crash monitoring and up to four hours of fixes.
When you need more than maintenance
If the site should keep improving, with new pages and landing pages every month, the Growth plan at USD 600 a month adds ten hours of design and development and a monthly speed and SEO check. Teams that need a designer and a developer on call use the Studio plan at USD 1,500 a month.
What happens without it
The common pattern: no updates for a year, then a plugin or framework breaks, the site goes down or gets hacked, and fixing it costs more than a year of maintenance would have. Small, regular care is cheaper than an emergency.
