Senior Frontend Engineer
Lead the frontend on our client sites in SvelteKit and Next.js, with a careful eye for motion and detail.

About the role
You will lead the frontend on the client sites we ship. You join a project at the first design sketch and you set the standard for what goes to production.
Most of our sites ship in Arabic and English, so right to left layouts are part of the normal week. We build with SvelteKit and Next.js, use Prismic for content and run Node on the backend.
We are looking for someone who thinks about animation and accessibility at the same time, and who cares how a site holds up two years after launch.
What you'll do
- Own the frontend architecture on new and ongoing client projects.
- Work with designers from the first wireframe, well before handoff.
- Review code and pair with the other engineers on the team.
- Build motion with GSAP, view transitions and Lenis.
- Look after performance, accessibility and SEO on every project.
- Build bilingual layouts that read well in Arabic and in English.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years building production web apps in TypeScript.
- Deep experience with SvelteKit or Next.js. If you know one, we will help you learn the other.
- Comfort writing CSS without reaching for a UI library.
- A portfolio that shows a real feel for motion.
- Clear communication in English. Arabic is a plus.
Nice to have
- Background in interaction or motion design.
- Open source contributions or a side project you still maintain.
- Experience with Prismic or a similar headless CMS.
